Which role are you qualified for?
Works with adults in care homes or community settings, providing day-to-day support with personal care, meals, and daily living activities.
An experienced care worker (usually Level 3 qualified). Supports less experienced staff, takes on extra responsibilities such as medication administration, and acts as shift lead.
Works with children in residential settings. Helps with daily routines, play, learning, safety, and emotional wellbeing.
An experienced childcare worker with Level 3 diploma in residential childcare or equivalent in Level 3 Health & Social care with children’s pathway. Leads shifts, supports junior staff, and ensures children’s care plans, safeguarding, and activities are followed properly.
Works in hospitals, nursing homes, or community care, supporting nurses and caring for patients’ personal and health needs.
More experienced HCA who may take on extra duties like supervising staff, monitoring patients more closely, or supporting with clinical tasks.
A qualified nurse (NMC registered) providing clinical care, administering medication, and overseeing care plans.
A qualified nurse (NMC registered) who specialises in mental health care and treatment.
